Website Waitlist
The AgileInk website offers a waitlist form for launch updates. When you submit your email address, AgileInk stores it โ along with the date and time of signup โ so BitWorks Apps can send launch and early-access updates. Waitlist email addresses are not shared with third parties, are not used for advertising, and can be removed at any time using the unsubscribe page or by contacting BitWorks Apps using the contact information above.
After submitting the waitlist form, you will receive a confirmation email. That email contains an unsubscribe link at the top so you can opt out of future updates at any time. If you do not receive the confirmation email, your address may still be stored for the waitlist; you can still unsubscribe at any time.
Waitlist data is retained until you unsubscribe or until BitWorks Apps deletes the waitlist after launch. If you have questions about waitlist data retention, contact BitWorks Apps using the information above.
Information AgileInk Accesses Or Stores Locally
AgileInk may access and store the following information on your device when you choose to use the related features:
- BOOX notebook files and note metadata selected through Android folder access, including notebook names, folder paths, page data, handwriting strokes, and modification information.
- TODO items, task titles, task state, priority, due dates, story points, sprint/list membership, comments, handwritten comments, trash metadata, and related workflow history.
- Calendar event metadata from calendars available on your device, when you enable calendar features. This can include calendar names, event titles, dates, times, all-day status, and event identifiers used to link events to notebooks.
- AgileInk calendar day notes created inside the app.
- App settings, selected calendars, folder access choices, licensing/trial status, and backup/restore metadata.
- Diagnostic information generated locally by the app, such as recent crash or app-exit summaries. These diagnostics are stored on your device unless you choose to share them.
Information Sent Off Device
AgileInk does not send your notebook contents, handwriting, TODO contents, calendar event details, calendar notes, backups, or app diagnostics to BitWorks Apps servers in the current Play Store version.
AgileInk may make limited network requests for licensing and app integrity:
- Google Play Billing is used to purchase or restore AgileInk products. Payment details are handled by Google Play. AgileInk does not receive your credit card number or full payment method details.
- Google Play Integrity may be used to check whether the app installation is genuine and associated with Google Play. For this check, AgileInk sends a Play Integrity token, nonce, package name, app version name, and app version code to a BitWorks Apps verification endpoint. The verification endpoint sends the token to Google for decoding.
- Cloud Premium features may make additional limited network requests for handwriting recognition, sync, OneNote integration, or related cloud features when you enable them.
- Standard server logs for verification or cloud endpoints may include technical request information such as IP address, request time, HTTP status, and user agent. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service operation.
Google And Third-Party Services
AgileInk uses Google Play services for Play Billing and Play Integrity. Google may process information according to Google's own privacy policies and Play terms.
AgileInk does not include third-party advertising SDKs, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or other third-party analytics services in the current Play Store version.
AgileInk includes on-device handwriting-related libraries. Any model downloads or processing performed by platform or Google libraries are used to support app functionality and are not used by BitWorks Apps for advertising or user profiling.
Android Permissions
AgileInk may request the following Android permissions or system access:
- Folder access through Android's system file picker, used to read BOOX notebook data from user-selected folders such as
.ksync. - Calendar access, used only when you enable calendar features.
- Notifications, used for app workflow notifications if enabled on your device.
- Internet access, used for Google Play Billing, Play Integrity checks, entitlement verification, and optional Cloud Premium features.
You can revoke permissions through Android system settings. Some AgileInk features may stop working if the related permission is revoked.
Backups
AgileInk includes an in-app backup/export feature. Backups may contain your AgileInk workspace data, including tasks, sprints, settings, trash metadata, calendar-event notebook links, and AgileInk calendar notes. Backups are created only when you choose to export them, and you decide where to save or share the backup file.
AgileInk backups do not intentionally include Google Play purchase tokens or credit card information. Backups may include non-secret trial and licensing metadata so restoring a backup does not reset the free trial period.
Android system backup may also back up app data if enabled on your device and supported by Android. Android system backup is controlled by your device and Google account settings.
Sharing
BitWorks Apps does not sell your personal information.
BitWorks Apps does not share your notebooks, handwriting, TODO content, calendar event details, calendar notes, backups, or app diagnostics with advertisers or data brokers.
Limited technical information related to purchases, licensing, app integrity, and service operation may be processed by Google Play services, Google Cloud infrastructure, or other service providers used to operate verification or cloud endpoints.
Retention
Most AgileInk data is stored locally on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, delete an in-app backup, or remove the relevant files from your device.
Server-side verification and cloud logs, if any, are retained only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service operation.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete AgileInk data in several ways:
- Delete individual TODOs, notes, comments, or other records where the app provides deletion controls.
- Empty trash where available.
- Delete exported backup files wherever you saved them.
- Revoke folder or calendar access in Android settings.
- Clear AgileInk app storage or uninstall AgileInk to remove local app data from the device.
If you need help with data deletion or privacy questions, contact BitWorks Apps using the contact information above.
Children's Privacy
AgileInk is intended for productivity and task management use. It is not directed to children, and BitWorks Apps does not knowingly collect personal information from children through AgileInk.
Changes To This Policy
BitWorks Apps may update this Privacy Policy as AgileInk changes. If AgileInk adds cloud sync, account features, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, or other data transfers, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety disclosures should be updated before those features are released.
